It has been revealed today that Foo Fighters will be heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2015 for a series of huge stadium shows. The full press release details the Australian shows, set to take place in Febuary and March 2015.
Triple M and Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce that rock superstars Foo Fighters will be returning to Australia in February and March 2015 for their biggest shows ever, with very special guests Rise Against.
This will be their first time back in Australia since 2011’s epic Wasting Light tour.
“When I think of the absolute peak of this band’s success or experience it’s that tour ‘coz those shows were just so massive… long… they were just f***ing stadium shows,” Dave Grohl told Triple M.
Triple M will be presenting the Foo Fighters Sonic Highways tour which kicks off 24th February, 2015. Tickets on sale Thursday, 13 November at 10am.
The Foo Fighters will be playing songs from their killer new album Sonic Highways (which is out Nov 10) alongside all your favourite anthems from theirmassive back catalogue like “Everlong,” “Monkey Wrench,” “My Hero,” “Learn To Fly,” “All My Life,” “Best Of You,” “The Pretender,” “Walk” and more!
Two dates in New Zealand have also been announced, taking place before the Australian dates:
