Heh, I think we must've changed it at the same time. Anyway, that's sorted. I suppose this tape needs to be compared mainly to the tracks that were on the tape MZ shared a while back, currently the best source for Butterflies, but the rest of the tape will probably be better than the NR'd version on the demo tapes bootleg CD.

Ok so I feel really handicapped right now (maybe it's from all the meds they have me on) but I can't find the 48khz link for this anywhere on here. Someone help please. When I click on that link it just takes me to the 44.1khz download.

Ahh I feel really bad for you Brad, sounds like you're having a shitty time with things at the minute. Hows your wife doing?

As for this, I don't think Nick has reuploaded a 48k version yet.

Finally got around to downloading and listening to this, and I'd say the Butterflies doesn't sound as good as that on the tape Mike transferred, but the rest of it sounds better than the Demo Tapes bootleg CD, sooooo, this will be SBD #1d in the sessions guide I guess, unless anyone thinks otherwise?
• Hi Simon!
Sorry to dig up this old thread (I'm currently reogarnizing my Foo's folders)!
Just for my knowledge, why haven't you kept SBD #1c (MZ transfer I guess) and #1d (for Nick's transfer) instead of a SBD #2?

Wish you an happy EOY :)

Hi Benoît,

Since the posts in this thread the source numbering system was changed a little, all recordings were grouped by the mix. So because this is a different mix to the final album sources, it became the SBD #2 group. Nick's transfer of the whole tape was #2a and MZs was #2b, but when the transfer of one of the Rough Mixes tape surfaced a year or two ago that replaced both of them, as it was better quality.

Hope that clarifies things. :)

• Hello Simon,

Thanks for your answer!
Indeed, it's clearer .

Happy New Year ;)
