Complete A-Z of Foo Fighters + Dave Grohl songs

edited December 2010 in General Discussion
Thought it'd be a good idea to put together a complete A-Z list of every known Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl studio song. Partly because it's just a nice reference and partly because there are tons of mislabels around, mainly thanks to people on youtube.

I've split it up into Foo Fighters Original Songs, FF cover songs (studio only) and Dave Grohl solo songs. Rationaline for placing of songs at the end.

Some songs listed are unreleased/unheard. They may be either known recorded songs at certain sessions but never heard publically or just titles revealed in some way. All of these titles are in italics. Some of them may not really exist or were just working titles for other known songs, but until I can be sure they're listed. You'll also notice the new album titles, I'll obviously change them once they're released.

Any corrections/additions/questions then fire away.

What I'm About (Possible mislabel/early title)

- I considered a song a Foo Fighters song if it was written for or released on a Foo Fighters record or played by Foo Fighters as a whole in some form. For example I'm considering Friend Of A Friend a Foo Fighters song since it was released on IYH but Milk for example is a Dave Grohl song since it's never been released by FF or played by anyone other than Dave. Some songs like Marigold are a bit of a crossover, but as long as they're listed somehow should be ok.

- Dave Grohl songs are only listed if they were written/recorded solely by Dave for himself only. So for example Mountain Of You and the Touch songs count but the multitude of guest positions and stuff like Probot that wasn't a song for Dave himself won't. I think I'm probably still missing quite a few that do qualify though.

I'm going to add live covers soon but only complete ones, not just jams, otherwise the list will be about four pages long.
