Session Information
Due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic Foo Fighters were unable to travel the world for promotion of their 10th album, 'Medicine At Midnight' as they would usually. Instead the band recorded several tracks 'live' at their own Studio 606 complex and sent them to various broadcasters to air on the date of their choosing. This collection of songs were recorded exclusively for the British radio station Virgin Radio.
The tracks were first broadcast on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on February 5th, 2021. The original date of recording is currently not known. Evans stated during the broadcast that they were recorded "this week", suggesting somewhere between February 1st and 4th, 2021.
The Foo Fighters cover of 'Shadow Dancing' was also broadcast during the Chris Evans radio broadcast but that track was recorded in a different session with individual instrumentation recording, overdubs and use of vocal isolation. More details on that session can be found in this entry.
