Nu-Metal band Korn pulled out of the event and promoters approached Foo Fighters to fill the slot, despite the event being primarily metal focused. Despite this the band agreed and were scheduled to go on straight after heavy metal legends Pantera. Foo Fighters played a setlist that they deemed as heavy as possible to try and appeal to the crowd.
