The band were due to film a promotional video for 'Stacked Actors' which was set to be the their next single but instead accepted a request from David Letterman to be the musical guests on his first show back after suffering a heart attack and undergoing surgery.
Despite later reports and Letterman himself insinuating that the band cancelled a tour in Brazil to perform on the show it was in fact cancelled for other, unknown reasons. The first show was not due to take place until 6 days after this appearance which would have given them sufficient time to get there.
