Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins were invited to induct Queen into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They gave an induction speech and then joined surviving members of the band Brian May and Roger Taylor to perform the Queen song, with Grohl on lead vocals and guitar and Hawkins doubling up the drums.
John Deacon, original bassist for Queen, retired from music in 1997 and wasn't present at the ceremony so bass was played by Steve Barnacle, most known as long-serving bassist of British synthpop band Visage.
Long time live Queen collaborator Spike Edney played keyboards.
