Dave and his daughter Violet were joined by Krist Novoselic, Greg Kurstin and Dave Lombardo for a performance of the X song 'Nausea'.
The song had been recorded and released by the Grohl's day earlier as part of the soundtrack to 'What Drives Us', a documentary produced by Dave highlighting life on the road for a touring band.
Dave appeared in Hollywood to talk to Kimmel but the performance was pre-recorded at the Studio 606 complex, it is not currently known when.
